The second annual Kiwanis Kar Show in Memory of Neal Shull is this Saturday, July 13th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Falls Park. This free event will fill our park with all kinds of cars from the must-see classics to hot rods, 4x4s and motorcycles.
Judging will take place at noon and the awards will be announced at 2 p.m. The Kiwanis organizers are hoping to have 150 to 200 cars in this year’s show.
Families and children can also enjoy Collision Cure tethered hot air balloon rides, live music, Kiwanis “famous” K-Burgers, Good’s ice cream, a Jaws of Life demonstration by the Pendleton Fire Department, Colts in Motion trailer, Rising Gravity Experience concert and more. Many vendors will be at the event as well as chances for door prices, a 50/50, silent auction and goody bags.
All event proceeds benefit a Kiwanis outreach program such as Feed the Children, student scholarships and the YMCA.
