What’s Happening Around Town This Weekend

We have some fun events to take part of in our little town of Pendleton this Saturday. First, it is Opening Day for the Junior Baseball League! Come downtown and enjoy the parade featuring all of the players and coaches. The parade begins at 10 a.m. The baseball games will take place all day at the Pendleton Sports Complex. Good luck to all of the teams!

Secondly, our four-legged family members have a special event too! The Dog Jog is Saturday at noon at Falls Park. Steve, my bulldog sidekick (who would probably choose to be considered the Pendleton Real Estate Pro mascot), and I may make it to this event to meet some of the other dogs in town. The event is sponsored by Animal Protection League.

Enjoy the weekend…hopefully we will have great weather to enjoy our great hometown parks!

Pendleton Elementary School Spring Carnival This Friday!

A popular Spring tradition is set to happen this Friday, April 19th!

The Pendleton Elementary School Spring Carnival will take place this Friday from 6 – 9 p.m. Join the fun at the school! The gymnasiums, classrooms and hallways will feature activities such as games, bounce houses, a photo booth, a jail house, raffle, vendor booths and more. This fundraising event generates revenue for teachers to purchase books, learning tools, supplies and games for their classrooms.

The Carnival Cafeteria will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. offering the famous Kiwanis K-Burgers, chips, candy, drinks and coffee.

Tickets the night of the event are four for $1 or an unlimited game and bounce house bracelet for $25. Games are two tickets each. Unlimited play in the bounce house is 25 tickets for three hours.
